Lakeshore Marina News
Dear Lakeshore Marina Customers,
Welcome back to the lake as we return to the boater’s season! We look forward to seeing you all this summer as we have grown with more rental boats and have introduced Boater’s Plus, as well as having renovated our Ship’s Store.
Lakeshore Grille hours of operation are Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and Sunday brunch is from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. They remain closed on Monday. Please call them directly at (423) 710-2057 for more information or visit their website and menu at www.lakeshoregrille.com.
Please note a few reminders about the rules at the Marina. No maintenance or repairs shall be performed on any boat except by the owner or the Lakeshore service department unless prior approval of the Marina is obtained. If it is approved by the office, the Vendor/Contractor must be insured before starting any service here on the premises.
If you are selling your boat, please don’t give out the gate code and the owner must show their boat themselves. In an effort to protect our customer’s belongings and our property, guests and non-members are not allowed on the docks unless in the presence of an owner. We encourage any members who are selling to provide us a flyer with details of your boat so that we can have it available as people do come into the Ships Store inquiring about boats for sale. We are happy to advertise and show your boat for a small fee.
Dry storage customers, please don’t wax the bottom of your boat as the forklift will not be able to lift your boat if you do. If you have already waxed the bottom of your boat, it MUST be professionally removed. We offer this service at a rate of $10/ft.
In addition, dry storage customers must ensure that their trim tabs are fully retracted prior to storage of their boat, as the dockhands and forklift driver are unable to see the position of your trim tabs prior to loading a boat. The Marina will not be responsible for broken trim tabs from failure to fully retract the same.
With respect to your individual dry storage space, all boat owners must be aware of the width and height restrictions for their particular space, especially if there is a bimini top or tower which must be folded down prior to storage of the boat. It is each boat owners responsibility to fold their bimini top or tower if required in order for the boat to safely fit into the dry storage space if indication is made, either verbally or otherwise (i.e. if your drive is up), that your boat is to go back into dry storage. The Marina will not be responsible for any damages as a result of a bimini top or tower not being folded down properly.
When bringing your boat to the dry storage dock, you must have dock lines at least 8 ft long. If you don’t, we will need to provide this at an additional charge of $20 for a pair. Also, please ensure you have bumpers for your boat to avoid any direct contact with the docks when waiting to be loaded into dry storage. We sell the bumpers in the ship store and can order them as well if we don’t have the size or color you need. This is for your own protection of your precious investments!!
Thank you, Lakeshore Marina
